OG Bounce Mushroom — WYSIWYG

This is the exact OG Bounce Mushroom shown in the photograph—the orange-bubbled mushroom centered on the black frag disc. The surrounding corals are not included.

This specimen has large fluorescent-orange vesicles, smaller yellow-to-green bubbles, and a textured blue-green base under our reef lighting. Color can appear different under another spectrum, so this WYSIWYG photograph is the authority for the coral you are purchasing.

Lineage and history

OG Bounce commonly refers to the established World Wide Corals Rhodactis-type mushroom lineage. By Reef-A-Palooza New York in 2016, Reef Builders was already documenting the OG WWC as one of the recognized collector Bounce mushrooms that helped define the craze.

A more detailed original wild-collection story is not reliably documented, so we will not add one just because an expensive mushroom sounds like it should have a cinematic backstory.
