Jake Adams’ Toxic Green Acropora florida

This coral does not need a complicated rainbow palette to stand out. Its intensely fluorescent green tissue remains visible under both blue and whiter reef lighting, while mature branches can develop contrasting orange axial corallites.

Jake Adams first encountered this unusual Acropora florida around 2008–2009 in Kevin Pockell’s aquarium at Aquatic Dreams in Spokane, Washington. He later documented and helped popularize the coral through Reef Builders. ACI Aquaculture now maintains it as the ACI Jake Adams Toxic Green Acropora florida.

What to expect

This is a cut-to-order listing. The photographs show our Reef Culture Co. mother colony, not the exact frag you will receive.

Frags are cut at approximately ¾ inch and healed for 2–3 weeks before shipping. Branch shape will vary, and newly cut frags may need additional growth before developing the structure and orange axial contrast visible on a mature colony.
